DuPage law firm Mevorah & Giglio Law Offices is proud to celebrate its 35th anniversary this month. Steven H. Mevorah founded his Lombard law firm in 1979, just weeks after being sworn in as an attorney. Steven Mevorah built his practice from the ground up starting it in the back of a Native American Jewelry store. Mevorah has grown his firm to its current powerhouse of 12 attorneys. While Mevorah focuses his practice on personal injury and family law, Mevorah has assembled an all-star team of attorneys with a wealth of experience in Immigration, Workers Compensation, Criminal, DUI, Family Law, and Personal Injury.

Over the 40 years of practice, Mevorah has helped the same people when they needed legal help, from car accidents, to divorce, to traffic tickets, and other types of cases. Mevorah is focused on helping his clients with all their legal needs.

When Mevorah opened the firm, he was considered a pioneer in legal advertising in DuPage County. He was one of the few attorneys who utilized advertising during that time, which helped clients obtain a better price for legal services. Before legal marketing became mainstream, many lawyers charged higher fees due to the lack of advertising and competition. Mevorah enjoys the competitive nature of the business, but always makes sure to keep his client’s best interests in mind.

Steven Mevorah has maintained a headquarters in Lombard, and as the business continued to grow, in 1984, Mevorah opened a satellite office in Bloomingdale. This additional location helped Mevorah to better serve his clients who lived further north, as Bloomingdale is located next to Schaumburg. In the past 5 years, Mevorah & Giglio Law Offices has opened offices in Naperville to better serve clients and businesses located in Cook, Will and Kane Counties.

In order to help achieve this goal Mevorah continued to expand his practice by hiring new attorneys and offering additional practice areas. Today Mevorah & Giglio Law Offices has 12 attorneys and a large support staff. In the 40 years that Mevorah has been in business, his firm has recovered tens of millions of dollars for its clients.
