Mother of Three Killed in Car Accident | Illinois Accident Attorney

Posted on March 15, 2013 in Personal Injury

Mothers work hard all the time. From work, to school, to just spending time with children can make time fly. Regardless of the commitments a mother has outside of the home, her children are always a priority. Arquilla Jones, 29 years old, was that sort of mother. She worked hard for her three children and was two months away from graduating from a medical assistance college program at Everest College. Plans to celebrate in the Wisconsin Dells were on deck for her and her children. A quick, ill-fated moment quickly ended it all. As she stopped her car, a driver rear-ended Arquilla Jones' car. The driver of that car was thought to have been under the influence of alcohol while speeding, causing the accident to become fatal. It killed Jones and seriously injured three others. It happened after she pulled over on the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) on a Sunday. Jones' boyfriend and a passenger of the other car were in serious condition as they were taken to the hospital. The driver was also in serious condition and taken to the hospital for injuries. Jones leaves three children behind – one-year-old daughter, an eight-year-old daughter and a nine-year-old son. The future for these three young children will now be without their mother, because of an accident that could have been prevented with the simple choices not to drive while intoxicated and to follow the speed limit. If you are in a situation where an accident devastates and changes your life, contact an Illinois accident attorney who will know how to help.
